EXCEPTIONAL LEADERS...
Take Time for Themselves

Values Beliefs Traits Emotions Leading complex organizations requires responding to multiple stakeholders and expending a large amount of energy over an extended period of time. Only then will most leaders achieve organizational objectives and be successful.

However, for many leaders, extended periods of reacting and responding to others can take its toll. When they don't take the time for themselves, they can lose effectiveness, get burned out, and even get physically sick.

Many of our coaching conversations involve enhancing personal effectiveness by avoiding overwhelm.

Exceptional Leaders take the necessary down time to rejuvenate and recharge their batteries.

? Thought Provoker

  • Have you found yourself exhausted from pursuing your goals and meeting others demands?
  • Is it time to restructure and reprioritize in order to take care of your self?
  • Do you masterfully delegate so that you can get a proper balance in your work.
  • Do you regularly schedule leisure time to rejuvenate?
  • Is it time to take a Blackberry-free vacation?

Exceptional Leaders take care of themselves so that they can be there for others and be fully energized to lead effectively.
